About One House Church

One WORSHIP

Our goal is to worship with the Church, not to the Church.

One COMMUNITY

Our goal is for church to be more than an event - to be a family.

ONE WORD

Our goal is not simply to encourage, but to train and build up more teachers.

What we believe

One House Church is non-denominational, so we've put extra work into ensuring that our teaching and beliefs lineup with the faith Christ handed down to His Apostles.  We use the scriptures to guide everything we do and say as church.

Statement of faith

God The Father

We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is the Creator and sustainer of all things. (Matthew 28:19)

God The Son

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will return in glory. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

God The Spirit

We believe in the present work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and empowers believers to live a holy life, bear spiritual fruit, and operate in the gifts He provides. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not earned by works, but received through repentance and faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

The Bible

We believe the Bible is inspired and authoritative, revealing God's will and guiding our daily faith and church practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The Church

We believe the Church is the body and bride of Christ, called to love, worship, serve, and spread the gospel. It was established by the Apostles, and is made up of all who confess Jesus as Lord. (Ephesians 4:4-6)

The Second Coming

We believe that Jesus Christ will return again to establish His kingdom. He will judge the living and the dead, and His reign will bring the final fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan. (Revelation 22:12, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Baptism

We believe that baptism is an ordinance given by Jesus Christ. Baptism is a public declaration of faith and union with Christ. (Matthew 28:19)

The Lord's Supper

We believe the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance given by Jesus Christ. It is a remembrance of His sacrifice and a proclamation of His return. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
